1st Prize in Reels Making Competition
We are delighted to announce that students from our college participated in the Reels Making Competition organized by Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Telugu Prant, and proudly won the First Prize at the District Level. 🎉
The competition was held with the inspiring theme — “Love Bharat, Serve Bharat & Celebrate Bharat” — aimed at promoting Swami Vivekananda’s timeless message of Universal Brotherhood and encouraging the youth to creatively express their love and commitment towards our Nation through digital storytelling.
This remarkable achievement reflects the students’ talent, teamwork, and dedication to upholding the ideals of Swami Vivekananda — to know Bharat, serve Bharat, and celebrate Bharat.
We congratulate the winning team and appreciate their inspiring contribution in bringing laurels to our institution.
Our students showcased exceptional creativity, patriotism, and originality in their short video presentation, which beautifully captured the essence of Bharat’s cultural and spiritual heritage. Their efforts were recognized among several participating institutions across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The award ceremony was held during the Grand Finale on 13th September 2025 at Hyderabad, where the winning team received a certificate, memento, and a cash prize, marking a proud moment for our college community.
Wins Gold at State Kickboxing Championship
We are thrilled to announce that Falak Sulthana, a Second Year CEC student of our Junior College, has made us proud by winning the Gold Medal at the 12th Telangana State Kickboxing Championship Tournament, held on 20th September 2025 at Legend MMA Hall, hosted by the Kickboxing Association of Telangana. 🏆
Demonstrating exceptional strength, discipline, and determination, Falak competed with remarkable skill and sportsmanship to secure the top position in her category, bringing immense pride to our college and the district.

National-Level Achievement in Martial Arts
We are proud to announce that our student Almaas Fatima, representing Telangana, has successfully participated in the National All Style Martial Arts Open Invitational Championship – 2025.
This prestigious championship was organized by the Ayush Karate Academy of India, a recognized member of:

• World Karate Federation (WKF)
• International Olympic Committee (IOC)
• Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India
The event was held on 09 November 2025 at Vaishnavi Function Hall, Devarkonda, Nalgonda, Telangana.

Inter Junior Colleges Kho-Kho Tournament Successfully Hosted at SLJCG
Sangam Laxmibai Junior College for Girls proudly hosted the Inter Junior Colleges District Level Kho-Kho Tournament on 01 November 2025. The event, organized in collaboration with the Hyderabad District School Games Federation, brought together enthusiastic teams showcasing teamwork, energy, and sportsmanship.
The tournament was conducted smoothly on our campus, providing students with a vibrant platform to compete and excel.

Commerce Talent Test Conducted
The Indian Institute of Management and Commerce (IIMC), Khairatabad, in collaboration with Ambitions Career Counsellors, successfully conducted the Commerce Talent Test for Junior College students. The initiative aimed to create awareness of various commerce-related subjects and enhance students’ academic competitiveness.
Students from several Junior Colleges across the twin cities participated enthusiastically. The examination consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions covering different areas of commerce and was conducted over a duration of two hours.

Students from Osmania University–affiliated colleges delivered an outstanding performance and secured top prizes based on merit:

Academic Excellence at IIMC
